Clethra

Clethra Hummingbird

Clethra Ruby Spice

Clethra alnifolia Hummingbird (Hummingbird Summersweet)
This recent introduction continues to gain in popularity. This compace mounding shrub only grows 2'-3' in height and has glossy dark green leaves on a compact rounded form. Sweetly fragrant white flowers in July through August cover the plant. Grows well in sun or mostly shade, prefers damp, organic soil. This shurb has thick foliage that turns from deep green to golden in the fall. It will handle both wet and windy locations.

Clethra alnifolia 'Ruby Spice' (Ruby Spice Summersweet)
This upright shrub has bright non-fading pink, very fragrant flowers that add color to your garden from summer to fall. Ruby Spice is not terribly fussy about light exposure - sun or shade is fine. It's bright green foliage turns golden in the fall.

Annabelle

HYDRANGEA arborescens ANNABELLE
Annabelle is a stately and reliable hydrangea that produces snowy white flower heads from 10"—12" in diameter. Annabelle blooms every year even after severe pruning or intensely cold winters. The huge, white "drumstick" blooms appear in profusion without fail.

Discovered in an Anna, Illinois, garden, Annabelle is perhaps the most popular old-fashioned shrub grown in American gardens. Annabelle will start blooming in early summer and increase in size until mid-to-late summer. This truly spectacular hydrangea grows to 4 feet. It is a splendid landscape plant that never gets out of bounds.

No need to prune! Annabelle has a nice natural shape. It can be cut to 6" in late winter. Cutting down to a base framework and ample feeding will yield extra large blooms.
Annabelle will grow in full sun to mostly shady locations.

Cityline™ Paris Hydrangea macrophylla
This new dwarf Hydrangea is will only grow from 12"—36"! The bright fuchsia colored flowers are large and showy. Cityline is a knockout flowering shrub!

This new and improved hybrid from Germany was developed where growth regulators are prohibited. It has tight sturdy stems without the use of chemicals. Its intense fuchsia color will pop in your garden and fill your home with beautiful fresh or dried cut flowers. The flowers age nicely into fall as well.

Prune immediately after flowering as it blooms on old wood. Moisture is a necessity for this shrub. Fertilize ths deciduous shrub in early spring. Flower color is affected by pH.

Great landscape plant adds a dash of bright color. Good in groupings or masses, in a perennial or shrub borders, as a specimen, screen or hedge. Use in mixed containers, containers, and as a cut flower.


Citiline™ Paris

Citiline™ Venice

Cityline™ Venice Hydrangea macrophylla
Like Cityline Paris,Vemice will only grow from 12"—36"! The bright fuchsia (or blue) colored flowers are large and showy. This hydrangea has tight sturdy stems. This is a low maintenance shrub. Its intense fuchsia or blue color will pop in your garden and fill your home with beautiful fresh or dried cut flowers. The flowers age nicely into fall as well.

Venice prefers well-drained soil that has been amended with peat moss, leaf mold or compost. Prune immediately after flowering, as it blooms on old wood. Moisture is a necessity for this plant. This deciduous shrub should be fertilized in early spring. The flower color is affected by pH. For blue flowers,add organic Garden Sulpher.

Hydrangea paniculata 'Limelight'
Limelight is an extraordinary Proven Winner introduction that produces exquisite and abundant 10"-12" long bright lime-green flowers. The flowers are held upright and open mid to late summer wen other plants are finished in the garden. The color is breathtakingly beautiful, and adds much needed color to the late summer landscape.

This easy to grow shrub will bloom with certaintly each year. The chartreuse flowers become tipped with pink to burgundy with the cool temperatures in fall.

This Hydrangea prefers full sun. It will grow 6 to10 feet in height by 6 feet wide. Space these shrubs 72"-80" apart. This is an excellent flowering shrub for the full sun landscape!

Limelight


Little Lamb

Little Lamb 'Hydrangea paniculata
A Proven Winners introduction, produces some of the most delicate flowers ever seen on a Hycrangea paniculata. Little Lamb's flowers are like those of the Pee Gee but much smaller. The white flowers look like little lambs dancing above the green foliage. Little Lamb prefers moist, well drained soil and the flower color is not affected by soil PH. This plant blooms in mid to late summer.

The mature height is 6 to 8 feet and will spread 5 to 6 feet. It has a compact rounded form and has a medium growth rate. Little Lamb prefers full sun.
 

Hydrangea macrophylla 'Shamrock' PPAF
A new Hydrangea in the Japanese tradition with masses of large doubled pink lace-cap flowers. The color deepens as the season progresses.

Very floriferous and long-blooming, and more frost-resistant than most Japanese types. Blooms in summer through fall. Flowers are violet-blue in acidic soil, red-pink in neutral soil. Grows best in part sun. This shrub will grow 3-5' in heighth and width and has a rounded habil. Great for dried flowers!

This Rose is a dense shrub type with dark green foliage bearing 5-petaled blooms. The blooms are a rich deep red color and need no deadheading. Home Run™ blooms from summer until frost.

This flame-red offspring of the famous Knock Out® Rose and Baby Love, kicks the competition up a notch when it comes to disease resistance.
