Black Beauty Elderberry

'Sambucus nigra 'Black Beauty'
This shrub is commonly known as the Black Beauty Elderberry. This hardy shrub will grow 8-10 feet tall. and can be grown in filtered to full sun. The foliage is an intense burgundy-black color which holds throughout season. The pink lemon-scented flowers grow to 8" flat panicles, blooming in early summer.

The Black Beauty prefers a well-drained, humus-rich moist soil. It is perfect in shrub and perennial borders. This hardy, easy to grow new shrub will make an impact in any garden.
