Japanese Maples are a species of woody plants native to Japan, China, Korea, and Mongolia. Cultivars of Acer palmatum are grown and bred for their brilliant color, shape, and four-season beauty.
In the summer, Japanese maples exude beautiful color you would normally see in fall. Leaves with pink and yellow hues lighten, while reds and greens deepen. In the fall and winter, these leaves fall and expose a graceful silhouette of branches. There are countless numbers of varieties, colors, shapes, and textures. Below is a list of Japanese maple varieties we often source at the nursery.
